So where is the GEEK?
What good is sitting alone in your room? Come hear the music play. Put down the knitting, the book and the broom, time for a holiday. Come taste the wine, come hear the band come blow your horn, start celebrating; right this way, your table’s waiting! No use permitting some prophet of doom to wipe every smile away. Come hear the music play. Life is a cabaret, old chum, and I love a Cabaret the GEEK!
So you want to come to the party, gathering, reunion, meeting, you get the idea. It’s easy. You just need to com to our office at 4:00 pm or later. I’ll be there waiting for you.
Our address is
1119 Manuel Acuña Street. We’re located between Nicolás Romero St. and Gregorio Dávila St., three blocks to the West of North Enrique Díaz de León Avenue, twelve to the East of Americas Avenue. Juan Álvarez St. is at the north, Herrera y Cairo St. is at the South side. The GEEK is located in a one-story building with a white dog on the roof, just at the left of a two-story building painted green with a stone façade, which happens to not have a white dog on the roof.
There. I said it. We’ll be there from noon to midnight, so you’ll have plenty of time. If you want to bring your favourite food or drink, you’re welcome to do so. We will be limited to a bottle of wine and a bottle of Bailey’s because we (and when we say ‘we’ we mean ‘I’) have a low budget this week.
So if you’ve seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you, then I would suggest you allow the twenty-second of March to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one day from tonight, outside the gates of The GEEK, and together we shall give them a twenty-second of March that shall never, ever be forgot.
